One of our newer sites, Widnes has quickly become a key part of our distribution network. Since opening in 2021, it’s built strong momentum, now operating over 40 routes and delivering around 1.4 million units every week to more than 1,300 customers across the North West and North Wales.
It’s a site that’s grown with purpose. Alongside its core operation, Widnes also plays an important role in supporting our Northern Ireland network, managing pallet build and trailer loading to keep products moving seamlessly across the water. Strong collaboration across the Central region helps the team share best practice and keep performance moving in the right direction.
With over 120 colleagues on site, Widnes combines experience with a forward-looking mindset. There’s a clear focus on safety, development and supporting people to succeed, backed by regular training, teamwork and a hands-on leadership approach.
With continued investment in facilities, new ways of working and a key role to play in future programmes, Widnes is still growing - and proving itself as a site that delivers.
