There’s a strong sense of continuity and pride here. Led by Paul Hutchell-Lias since the site first opened, the team blends long-standing experience with newer voices, creating a culture built on consistency, teamwork and high standards. That approach has helped the site build a strong reputation for safety, compliance and engagement, including being recognised with the 2025 distribution safety award.
With around 70 colleagues on site, Port Talbot is also known for developing its people, with many progressing into new roles across the business. A recent pilot of new ways of working, alongside continued investment and growth in routes, means the site is continuing to evolve.
With high engagement, excellent safety performance and a team that takes real pride in what they do, Port Talbot is a site that delivers for both customers and colleagues alike.
