Port Talbot has been part of our network since 2007, playing a key role in keeping products moving across Wales. Operating 29 routes and covering around half the country, from Mid Wales to the English borders, the site delivers a vital service across a wide and varied geography.
There’s a strong sense of continuity and pride here. Led by Paul Hutchell-Lias since the site first opened, the team blends long-standing experience with newer voices, creating a culture built on consistency, teamwork and high standards. That approach has helped the site build a strong reputation for safety, compliance and engagement, including being recognised with the 2025 distribution safety award.
With around 70 colleagues on site, Port Talbot is also known for developing its people, with many progressing into new roles across the business. A recent pilot of new ways of working, alongside continued investment and growth in routes, means the site is continuing to evolve.
