Where does bread begin? For many children, the journey from tractor to toaster is something they've never had the chance to see up close. That's why we're helping bring farming, food and nature to life through our Wheat Education Programme.
Some achievements never lose their shine, and this is definitely one of them. We're incredibly proud to share that Warburtons has been ranked the #1 supplier among our benchmarked Bakery and Major Branded peers in the Advantage Group Survey.
We're delighted to share that our Gluten Free Soft Flatbreads and Tiger Farmhouse have both been awarded Gold at the Free From Awards, recognising the quality, taste and innovation behind two products that continue to delight customers.
At Warburtons, caring for our communities has always been an important part of who we are.
Bolton is where our story began 150 years ago, so seeing Community Shop Sunnyside open its doors in Great Lever feels that little bit extra special.
Created in partnership with Bolton Council and Company Shop Group, Community Shop Sunnyside brings together a Community Store, Community Hub and Community Kitchen, creating a welcoming space for local families to access affordable food and everyday essentials, build skills and confidence, and connect with others in their community.
But it’s about much more than the weekly shop. It’s about bringing people together, creating opportunities and offering support right at the heart of the community.
For us, this is Caring for Community in action. We’ve always believed the communities around our bakeries and depots are part of the Warburtons family, and we’re incredibly proud to play our part in making a positive difference.
And to see that happening here in Bolton, our hometown, during our 150th year makes it even more meaningful.
A big slice of support, right here in our hometown.
