Job Title: Credit Control Clerk

Contract: Part Time Hours, Monday to Friday (4.5 Hours per day)

We're looking for a proactive and customer-focused Credit Controller to help keep our accounts in great shape. From managing customer payments and allocating cash receipts to building strong relationships and reducing overdue debt, you'll play a key role in supporting the financial health of Britain's favourite bakery.

The Recipe

As a key member of our Finance team, you'll play an important role in supporting the day-to-day management of company cash flow. You'll ensure customer payments are processed accurately and efficiently, from reviewing daily bank reports and allocating cash receipts to maintaining customer accounts and keeping records up to date. With a keen eye for detail, you'll help ensure all financial transactions are recorded correctly and completed in a timely manner.

You'll also be responsible for raising and issuing invoices, as well as uploading documentation to customer portals to support authorisation and payment processing. Working closely with customers and internal stakeholders, you'll build strong relationships while providing excellent service and support.

A key part of the role will involve proactively managing outstanding invoices and debit notes, helping to minimise overdue debt and maximise cash collection. You'll investigate and resolve account queries quickly and effectively, identifying solutions that support prompt payment while maintaining positive customer relationships. Through your proactive approach and strong organisational skills, you'll help keep our finances running smoothly and contribute to the continued success of the business.
