We're delighted to share that our Gluten Free Soft Flatbreads and Tiger Farmhouse have both been awarded Gold at the Free From Awards, recognising the quality, taste and innovation behind two products that continue to delight customers.
At Warburtons, we're always looking for new ways to bring people together, and our latest idea has landed right on "GO".
For many children, the journey from tractor to toaster is something they've never had the chance to see up close.
That's why we're helping bring farming, food and nature to life through our Wheat Education Programme.
Since 2017, we've been working alongside our farming partners, Frontier Agriculture and The Country Trust, to sow the seeds of curiosity in classrooms and communities across the country.
Through interactive farm visits and our Farm in a Box classroom resource, children can discover where their food comes from and learn more about the people, wildlife and landscapes behind every harvest.
And this year has been our busiest yet.
Working across 12 farms, we've delivered 28 farm visits, giving children the chance to pull on their wellies, ask plenty of questions and experience farming first-hand. From seeing crops growing in the field to understanding how wheat eventually becomes the bread on their tables, every visit helps bring learning to life.
The impact of the programme continues to grow. Since it began, we've reached nearly 5,000 children through almost 200 farm visits, helping young people build a deeper understanding of farming, food production and the countryside around them.
But it's about more than how bread is made.
When children connect with where their food comes from, they're building confidence, developing new skills and gaining knowledge they'll carry with them long after the school day ends.
