Commercial Finance Manager
Hi I’m Becky and I’m Commercial Finance Manager which means making sure the commercial team make great decisions from a financial strategic and ethical point of view. I’m quite new in the role but even so, I’ve noticed the difference of working here immediately! It’s one big family. No two days are the same really. Which makes it really involving, negotiating new retailer terms or helping with promotions. I’m empowered to make decisions as I see fit, which is really refreshing and though we work within guidelines, I really have the opportunity to apply my experience and skills in everyday scenarios - some expected, others ‘interesting’. Like for example the time I go the opportunity to take part in a van run with my driver, delivering bread around my home town - what an experience!
My advice to anyone thinking of Warburtons as a place to work? Take the plunge! I’ve been overwhelmed by the huge welcome, kindness & support of fellow colleagues. Oh, and try the plain white bagels.. I’m addicted to them!
